Christopher

P4P Youth Consultant

The Funny Guy…

His Story…

Chris went into foster care when he was 11 years old, aging out at 21 from Ramsey County. He was placed in the foster care system due to his mother’s mental health issues. When he entered foster care, he had to learn that the temporary “foster” family were not meant to replace my family, but rather be an additional family. The lack of consistency or not having a permanent home or city to call home, made him fee like he didn’t have one place/home or geographical location to go to, which ultimately made him into a very adaptable person.

He attended Minnesota State University (MSU) Mankato under a theatre major for two years. He has been working with youth since he was age 16, as a youth group leader, becoming a transitions coach, and a camp counselor.

Chris is a young professional that has worked with Partnerships for Permanence since 2016. He is the father of two amazing children, and a racial justice advocate.
