Learning to Forgive my Foster Parent

Words do not describe how I feel about you and our time at your house. Most of the memories I have are blocked off or have chosen to be forgotten.

I know there were some good times, but my overall reaction to you is anger and hurt.

I thought I had moved past it, but what you told my younger brother when he accepted your Facebook friend request, was utter crap. Obviously, your idea of making amends is different from ours.

You can't tell us you were not at fault for anything, and that nothing happened. That the things that happened to us were “what we were told."
